Sotto is designed to be completely private. This policy explains what that means.
Sotto does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. We have no servers that receive your information, no analytics, and no tracking.
Everything you import into Sotto — documents, scanned pages, clipboard content, and web articles — is processed entirely on your device. The audio Sotto generates is stored only on your device. None of this content is ever uploaded, shared, or transmitted anywhere.
The first time you use the natural voices, Sotto downloads a one-time voice model file from a public server. This download contains no personal information; it only retrieves the voice model needed to generate speech on your device.
In-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Sotto does not receive or store your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs this process.
If you use the scan feature, Sotto accesses your camera only to capture the pages you choose to scan. These images are processed on your device and are not stored or transmitted by Sotto.
Sotto does not collect data from anyone, including children.
